2010-06-03 Match Cube/Answer

It's a double and a take.  Many people will drop this, but it's a clear take.  At this score, since it doesn't matter that much whether you lose 1 point or 2 points in terms of winning the match, you can take down to about 18 percent.  The key is gammons--if you take and get gammoned you do get really hurt--your opponent is then winning 4-0 Crawford, and your chances of winning the match go down to about 15 percent.  But when you have an anchor like this, gammons are not very high (about 7 percent) so you can comfortably take this double and hope for a shot.
